Tenant & Visitor Access

Normal Building Hours:

Day of the Week Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Saturday 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

After Hours Access

  • A building access card is required to pass through the turnstiles and to access an elevator from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Employees who forget their access card are required to check-in with Security at the Lobby Console to verify their tenant employment and access card information. If no tenant escort is available and/or access into the office space is required, a notification to the tenant contact will be made to seek approval for building staff to grant office access for the employee.

New Tenants

  • Upon occupancy, building access cards will be provided to all tenants pursuant to lease language. Absent specific lease language, tenant will receive one card for each occupant. Cards issued are registered to a specific user.
  • Additional cards may be obtained via the Service Request System. Access cards are then billed at the prevailing rate.
  • Building access cards may be reused at no expense. New user registration is required by submitting a Service Request.

New Hires

  • Tenants should submit a Service Request for new hires to be issued new cards or to set up new user registration for cards being reused. For new cards, the tenant will be billed at the prevailing rate. There is no charge for reusing and registering existing cards.

Lost or Damaged Cards

  • Tenants should notify Security through a Service Request of any lost or damaged cards so they may be disabled. Replacement cards will then be issued and billed to the tenant at the prevailing rate.

Involuntary/Voluntary Employee Termination

  • Tenants should notify Security through a Service Request of any access cards requiring disabling due to an employee departure.

Visitors and Guests

All visitors to 111 South Wacker Drive must be pre-registered via Cloud Gate visitor registration system. Each tenant will have an authorized person or persons trained to facilitate visitor registration and may add authorized employee users.

  • All visitors must check in at the 1st Floor Lobby Security Console with a valid photo I.D. Again, visitors should be pre-registered using the Cloud Gate system to ensure an efficient check-in.
  • Once visitors have completed the check-in process with Security, they will be provided a temporary visitor badge to pass through the turnstiles and an elevator called to their destination floor.
  • Visitors during after-hours must have a tenant escort them into their space from the lobby.
